Established in 1997 Winchester's was at the genesis of the rebirth of downtown Ventura. The casual themed steakhouse was the first to offer patio dining on Main St. and quickly became known for their high quality steaks, burgers, and even exotic meats such as elk, bison, and venison, at very reasonable prices. Their 41 draft beers have made them key contributors to the craft-brew revolution, and the “Winchester 45â€, is one of the finest collections of craft whiskeys on the central coast. They continue to this day to be leaders not just in the now thriving downtown cultural district, but also in the community at large.

The food and service at Winchesters Grill & Saloon truly exceeded my expectations, with each dish, especially the angus beef sliders and grilled salmon salad, showcasing remarkable flavor and freshness. Despite the bustling crowd, the attentive staff ensured a pleasant dining experience, and the lively atmosphere with live music made it even more enjoyable.
