The Vittles Stop BBQ is the home of Vermont Style BBQ. Our BBQ is Not the tangy Carolina BBQ nor is it Sweet like Saint Louis BBQ . Our BBQ is a combination of the two. Our sauce is a sweet & sassy sauce full of Vermont flavors. We use Vermont Maple Syrup, Honey and other products found fresh in Vermont. Our Meats are dry rubbed and marinated in our on blend of spices bought in New England to assure freshness, quality and .flavor. Our meats are smoked in our all wood smoker where we slow cook our meats till juicy and tender, using a mix of Vermont hard woods. We carry Ribs, Brisket, Chicken, Hamburgers and Hot dogs. Our sides are all home made from recipes passed down from generation to generation and full of old fashion flavors. As for our daily specials you might find just about anything, Maryland Crab Cakes, Lobster, Steamers,Gourmet Pizza Pork Chops, and Steaks. Our sides are home made with garden fresh vegetables when available.

Our hours of operation. We open in April as soon as weather permits. And we close some time in Oct again depending on the weather. We are open from 11am till 8pm. And have picnic tables available for public use. During the winter months we do operate a dinner service for take out or deliver and our menu changes daily and can be delivered right to your door.

We came across this place while out sight seeing and I am here to tell you I am glad we did. Not fancy very plan and simple best BBQ We have ever had. We had sampler platter and it was just out of this world and there sauces can't be beat. If your ever in Windsor do your self a favor and try this place out. You won't be sorry.
