Mediocre. Ribs over cooked. Tasteless. Gave it a try. Chicken Parm over cooked Pasta soggy. Bread was ok.

My wife and I went to the Houndstooth onAug 8 2009 .We got there shortly after 5pm.(Our last visit was over a year ago,where we were served barely warm food,and my wife got sick over it)So we wanted to give them another try.My wife ordered a chicken bbq sandwich and fries,I ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs.It took about 15 minutes to get our food ,(another waitress brought our food out,not the one who took our order) The food was about room temp,We ate a few bites and decided after 10 minutes waiting on a waitress to return to our area that we are going to take the rest home and heat it up.Finally after the waitress came to our table to ask us how is everything,I said very disappointing.The food is cold.The waitress said let me tell the owner.When the waitress came back she said that the owner was sorry,that is all .She did not offer to fix the problem,reheat the food,reduce the bill,or let us order something else.So we went to pay the bill, and the owner said oh you were the ones with a problem,I cant believe your food was cold I'm sorry.I told her I have been coming here for 20 years .There sure isn't the crowd waiting outside to get in like it use to be.The owner said if there was a problem with the food you should come to the owner to tell them.I thought you should pass it along to the waitress,if she ever shows up.I will not be going here anymore.It's pretty bad the owner doesn't care about the quality of her food and doesn't believe someone when they say there was a problem.

Awesome! We found it accidentally while traveling from Richmond to King George. Great seafood, quaint atmosphere, homemade desserts to die for! The owner personally makes the cheesecake every week in variations like you've never seen...puts the cheesecake factor to shame! A must for anyone traveling through Hanover. Located on US 301; hours vary throughout the week. Check it out!
