We were there 3 times before the fire. Always had a great meal. Can't wait to go back in Nov. 2022

I have had burnt steak twice in a row. I asked for medium well but not charred. We got a pork tenderloin that was supposed to have Apple stuffing . No apple anywhere and stuffing was removed before eaten. Waitress was very nice but salad dressing was wrong and never offered bread after initial serving. We have been there many times but no more.

My wife and I ate there May 2017. Great atmosphere, great food at reasonable prices. The decor of the log house was very imaginative and neat. The garden and shops out back were very unique with something for almost everyone. Prices pretty reasonable in the shops too. Would definitely return.

Unique and quaint atmosphere! GREAT service, absolutely delicious food and reasonable prices. I had the pork tenderloin with apple stuffing, wild rice and green beans and my husband had the Cod and the New England Clam Chowder! OMG! So good! We're already trying to come up with excuses to travel back to this area just to eat here again. After dinner we walked through the whimsical garden area with live bunnies and birds and browsed the gift shops. I was impressed with the unique and handcrafted artwork and was very pleasantly surprised at the reasonable prices. Wonderful overall experience!

Staying in Max Meadows and found this place on line. We loved it !! Gift shops were interesting while waiting. We ended up eating in the Bar area, service was GREAT. The food was awesome, hubby had a log cabin signature dish of stuffed pork tenderloin which he said was amazing !! I had the smaller rib eye, it was tender and cooked as I ordered it, great flavor and the iron skillet keeps it hot !! We had corn fritters for appetizer with honey also Awesome !! I really appreciate the personable service we received in the lounge area and they can mix a mean drink !! LOL ! We recommend this place and we will be back !! Note: if its a weekend call ahead for reservations !!

The food was mediocre at best and the service and attitude was worse. This was our 5th and last visit here. One of our guest had to ask for the 3 rd glass of white wine before she got a glass that had not oxidized! Our granddaughter's enter came 10 minutes before we left and the appetizers came with the entres. The poor server did the best she could with no obvious training on her second night. When asked about our dining experience by the cashier and relating the above situations she merely said that this was the servers second night . Need new. Restaurant manager and head server
