Lorraine's is the only sit-down restaurant open year-round on Tangier Island, offering a true taste of local seafood with generous portions and fresh ingredients. The crab dip and crabby fries are crowd favorites, and even if soft-shell crabs aren't your thing, the flounder sandwich and well-balanced sides like coleslaw and macaroni salad won't disappoint. The atmosphere is simple but welcoming, service friendly, and it's wise to arrive early or be prepared for a wait during busy times, especially since everything shuts down early on Sundays.
