Lunch for two, not busy after 1:00 P.M., seated in the bar. Soup of the day (roasted red pepper) arrived cold. 1/2 chicken sandwich was tasteless; stopped after one bite. Reuben was a grease rag and could finish only half, very little Thousand (no Russian) so not good at all. Waffle garlic fries had tons of unmelted grated cheese on arrival, and cold. Next batch after complaining arrive hot w/ little to no cheese so we dumped from the old/cold fries onto the new. Barkeep sent over the manager seeing that this was headed South; manager was the same lady who brought out our food (read expeditor), and acknowledged that the first fries should have been hot and had melted cheese, and that she had brought them anyways. Kitchen let the barmaid down, and we left hungry. My sixth trip (first for lunch, never for dinner), and not again unless for a meeting. Did we have a bill? Never knew since no one mentioned a comp or bill. Like I said, tipped the barmaid.
