Delicious food piping hot and home made by the friendliest cooks around. Wonderful cornbread pancakes. Great experience.

This is by far the best Soul Food in Waco Texas. Its fresh and typical home-style cuisine is absolutely mouthwatering, and the side cornbread pancakes alongside the entree are out of this world. The women who own, operate, and cook are delightful. I would highly recommend this place, even though it's location is rather far out.

Extremely limited soul food menu. More of a barbeque restaurant. Dining area clean. Not many customers at 1:30 PM on a Thu. Rude and surly 'hostess/order taker". Very disappointing as a soul food enterprise.
