I'm pretty new to the neighborhood, but I'm lovin' Tara's. I mostly buy their deli sandwiches, but they seem to have a nice assortment of items for people who need household items, too. Also, their Boar's Head turkey is priced two dollars less per pound than Stop and Shop! The workers at Tara's have mastered what I like to call the Science of Sandwich. Perfect meat to cheese to food lube (mayonnaise, in my case) to fixings ratio. The turkey sandwich on a hero is a classic, and all-around great sandwich. Even better with bacon. The steak and cheese is unbelievably good. Juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The fried onions are awesome. Also, as the other reviewer states, the sandwiches are made very quickly. I don't think I've ever waited longer than three minutes. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the sandwich. I've paid double for sandwiches that weren't half as good. I stop in here at least once a week, and will continue to be a regular customer. The workers are super friendly, too. My new local spot as I just moved right down the road. Somehow, despite the size of the place, they have a little bit of everything. The sandwiches are good and are made extremely fast.
