I was introduced to this barbecue joint when a thoughtful administrator provided it to school staff on conference night. Initially hesitant due to my usual aversion to barbecue, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was. The beans could easily be a main dish and the potato salad was perfectly balanced in texture. Meeting "Big Daddy" added to the experience as his passion for food and dedication to customer satisfaction shone through.
