Great siciliana pizza

review_stars 04/03/2015 - Carol curran
I see some of the competitors have been writing reviews on here. That's the only problem with reviews. I've been eating here since I found it after I moved here 11 yrs ago. This is not just a pizza place though thier pizza is the best around. The owners are all about customer service and quality of food. They use the best ingredients. They take care of thier employees. You can tell by the same ones are there and they act like its thier own business. If you are looking for cheap doughy chain pizza or canned sauce on your pasta this is NOT the place to come. Thier Italian dishes are as good as fine dining italian..thier pizza is crisp, awesome, and what I look for in pizza. Thier sauce is awesome.at lunch time when its busiest for eat in it's like a fine oiled machine. I will eat here again and again. I actually drive 30-40 mins to eat here and pass about 10 pizza, maybe 3 italian places on the way to it . And the prices are excellent!

the food is mediocre, and the customer service is absolutely horrible. I don't plan on coming back here. At least until I hear that there is some new management

review_stars 03/28/2014 - Carrie
I called to place an order for delivery, someone picked up the phone and hung up on me. So, I called and placed an order with Antonio's and it was EXCELLENT!

Tony just the other day I was at your establishment and waiting my turn on line when your counter order taker looked past me and asked to help the man behind me. He said to him, what he could get for him. I told your employee are you kidding me! You are going around me to help the guy behind me? It was obvious that he new that person. Your employee response to me was he did not see me there. This was clearly a racial decision from your employee.
If you do not want to serve people of color or ethnic back ground you should have the MEATBALLS and post a sign saying WHITES ONLY and this would avoid problems and keep other customers safe from what can get ugly.
The description of that employee is as follow:
Short white male with tattoos a black man hair cut and his verbiage is a black man wanna be.
The food is good but Tony you need to review your staff

never had a bad meal there. its awesome!

review_stars 10/27/2011 - beth
went there not long ago.. the pizza looked like it had been sitting out too long, the male employee was rude when I asked how long it been sitting there. for once, I went with my gut feeling and left. Since then, my sister said she and her son went there and the pizza was really bad

review_stars 02/14/2011 - Danny R.
They were 2 hours late and the pizza was very cold when it arrived. We called at the 1 hour mark (when It was 15 minutes late) and were told it would be 15 minutes. I gave 30 minutes, called again and they said they were on the way. I called 15 minutes later after still NO PIZZA and they guys started giving me lip about them being busy and short a driver.

Needless to say, I was upset because they've been telling me 15 minutes for an hour at this point. They didn't give me a refund and the guy hung up on me. I called back asking for the owner's name and all I got was "Anthony". I asked for the last name and he said "oh, I don't know". I asked for the manager and he said there isn't one.

The was the LAST time my house and my in-laws down the street and a friend next door will order. I've already told them, and they're not giving their business to them. I'd have been OK with it if they would have told me "we're runner about 30-45 minutes late" but the hole 15 minute routine and hanging up on me...My money spends just as good someplace else. Once conciliation: the delivery kid was very nice.

This place is Amazing with the food. Born and raised in Brooklyn with the finest Italians. This place ROCKS! Not like all the so called NY Style Pizza places wanna be. Sorry but true. The meatballs need a little improvement. Not like Mama use to make on the sunday dinners but overall great food. As for the person who said Greasy Mexican. That was just racist and rude. That early Brooklyn map is great! is it for sale? Anyway as long as I live in the Great City Wilimgton, this place will get my money for the real italian cooking.Thank You!

I've been ordering from Brooklyn for over 10 years and love it. I know the owners well and they are great people. Anthony was raised at his Father's pizza shop in Brooklyn and he brought the exact product down south. I noticed one bad comment on this page so that shows you a little something about this place. So for KIMBERLY that left the bad comment. Call Dominoes or Pizza hut because you are CRAZY!!!! Jerry could have been having a bad day and you walked in at a bad time and if you say he is always like that. Well you must like the food. Haha the joke is on you. I'm headed to Brooklyn now come to think it. Maybe I will see ya there. I will look for the pissed off girl thats enjoying the awesome food from BROOKLYN PIZZA!! :)

review_stars 06/03/2010 - J OMara
Best pizza I've had outside NYC. The store in Hampstead is just as good as the first. You are so lucky to have them in your area.

review_stars 04/26/2010 - Newyawka
If you long for your New York/Long Island pizza. Go to Brooklyn pizza Co. We love it! Best pizza in the south and the guys who own are really nice.

review_stars 04/26/2010 - Don Juan
Don't listen to Kimberly. She just hates the North!

review_stars 03/21/2010 - NY Fan
Best pizza ive had since been in N.C. service reminds me of home. Hope they open up in hampstead area. If your from the north take a trip, feels like home.

review_stars 03/14/2010 - Long Island Girl
The Pizza is great!!! If you long for a taste of New York/Long Island, this is it. The service is good and the owner and help are friendly. What you put out is what you receive.

review_stars 03/08/2010 - MenuPix User
This is by far the most amazing pizza in Wilmington. They are really friendly and I think they have the best pizza in NC! If you want real Brooklyn Pizza go here!!!!

review_stars 03/03/2010 - tommy
I hate that place. The reason begin is that grimy Mezican Jerry who cant hardly make a pie, much less deal with people. THe management is horrible and the owner is lucky his food tastes half decent in an area where there is NOTHING else to eat. Should be called dirty juans pizza joint with attitude and inexperience with people and how the world works

review_stars 02/20/2010 - Kimberly
The food and service are very good... but as warning to those of you reading this menu online~ it is inaccurate price wise. The prices jumped significantly and I found out when it was delivered to my door. Apparently a customer has posted this menu so Brooklyn Pizza has nothing to do with it. Very disappointing!

review_stars 02/09/2010 - Kelly
Everything I order has been great.

review_stars 02/05/2010 - Catie
Amazing! Just moved down from NY and this pizza has saved my life. Simply delicious. Just like home.

superb pizza!

review_stars 10/26/2008 - pjc
Great NY style slices, as the owner used to have a place in Brooklyn. The best pizza in Wilmington.

review_stars 09/29/2008 - MenuPix User
Excellent pizza. Service ok but could be a little friendlier. Great value. I just love the crispy crust. Dine in and take out both have proven great.

review_stars 09/06/2008 - T-Dawg
I wanted to try something different for pizza, so I tried this place. Without a coupon or "special", $11 for an 18 inch pizza is pretty good. I have tried pizza along the East Coast, and by far, the best pizza I ever had! Service was ok, nothing fancy. At least thet don't have a tip jar, glaring out at you like pizza joints have. I did not give a rating for atmosphere because I did take-out. It looked barebones inside, not very inviting at all. So, if you want great taste and value, try Brooklyn Pizza Co.!

review_stars 07/26/2008 - MenuPix User
Food is good, but every time I go in there or order take-out they are rude. So as long as you are ready for an attitude, it's an OK place to eat. Inside nothing special, typical pizza joint.

review_stars 06/08/2008 - MenuPix User
The name says it all, BROOKLYN PIZZA!! Best pizza in wilmington, by far. The crust is crizpy and the sauce is amazing. Real NY pizza!! HIGHLY RECOMENDED!

Best Pizza in Wilmington,NC

review_stars 10/14/2007 - MenuPix User
Best NY style pizza in Wilmington! Their slices are huge!

review_stars 08/03/2007 - MenuPix User
We ordered a Veggie pizza. The menu stated that it had onions, mushroom, peppers and black olives. After a 45 minute wait the pizza arrived. It was not hot, only barely warm. It did not have any onions, about 4 pepper slices a few olives and mushrooms. The sauce was so thin you could not taste it and I think they forgot the cheese. No spices, very bland, I will not return
