Best damn bar around town! Always consistent hours and the best service! Thanks, Mark!! PS: the jukebox is legendary... 4 songs for $1. This place is a treasure and a dump all at the same time, known as Uncle Johns or Y Pines in the middle of nowhere on Moose Lake. Owned by ex-Chicagoans, expect Bears & Sox stuff all over, with staff that's "up-north" friendly. Small, kitschy decor, vintage bathrooms, and cheap drinks await. Fish fry fans, get here early on Fridays for all-you-can-eat walleye or fried chicken, with delicious, greasy, inexpensive food. Don't miss the "salad bar" with mayo coleslaw salads but no actual salad. A trip up north isn't complete without Y Pines, where the food is good, drinks are strong, and the staff is friendly - a rare find on the coasts.
