I'm thrilled we discovered this wonderful place in Antigo during our overnight stay. After reading rave reviews about their delicious pizza, we decided to give it a try and were not disappointed. The cheese curds, hand cut fries, and pizza were all incredibly tasty and fresh. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was clean and cozy, and it was a convenient stop off Hwy 45 for our trip "up north.

I suggested Friday "fish fry" to my out of town company. The restaurant was not crowded. We had to put our name in, we sat at the bar. Two guys in the group ordered a beer on tap. When one of the "beers" was presented it was root beer. When asked, the bartender laughed and stated he was not the first person it had happened to.He did not offer anything else, just walked away. When we were seated for dinner, we had quite a wait to order. When we did order, we waited, waited and finally the waitress told us the "fryer" was overloaded? It was a Friday!...My walleye was pan fried, cold and dry, like the homemade french fries. The other meals were cold and dry like they had sat for a long time. Not the first time this restaurant was dissapointing. This will however, be the last time we support this restaurant.Too bad, because we live in the neighborhood and entertain often.This was the "new" location in Wausau WI.
