Best Mexican food in the midwest. I have been there several times and never had to wait long....
I eat here every time I go to Sheridan from Rapid City SD.

I actually would give this restaurant a 4 star rating. I gave a 5 because i felt they were unjustly accused. Chances are the people who rated just 1 star, showed up on a RODEO weekend or similar event where they would have been packed-to-the-gills and trying their darnedest to get everyone seated. This restaurant can only seat less than 100 and actually has true authentic Mexican cuisine. If you would like to try things outside of the typical burrito, tacos or chimichangas (which are good) then try Los Agaves, my favorite is the Tacos El Carbon, made with corn tortillas (excellent!) and with a half carafe (for two people) of Sangria ($6) gives just enough sweet fruity wine to complete the meal. You also get complimentary fresh & hot tortilla chips with homemade salsa and cinnamon-ed fried flour chips with whip cream and raspberry sauce for dessert! For the small town of Sheridan, we are very fortunate we have Los Agaves for a Mexican fare!

I can't really comment on the quality of the food, as we left after waiting nearly an hour for our food. I thought perhaps they had a staffing emergency that day (I saw ONE person seating, taking orders, communicating with the kitchen, serving and bussing tables), but then I read reviews on google and three out of four complained about the wait, and the fourth defended the lengthy wait.
