Frozen mahi and scallops. Not a good value for their way high prices. Very cramped space where you practically sit on top of each other.

This place is the absolute pits. The servers lack training and act like you’re inconveniencing them if you ask for anything

Not anything to brag about. Food was mediocre. Vegetables where waybover cooked. Chicken was super salty and dry. Way way way over priced

Poor service food was cold. Ridiculous prices. My tuna was over cooked. Wife's Alfredo was cold and gummy. Terrible experience

Food took forever. Poor quality. Loud and obnoxious bartender. Waste of money

Not great at all. Way to expensive for the poor quality you get. Waitresses make you feel like your bothering them.

Over priced. Frozen fryer apps. Frozen Chinese fish. Nothing they serve is local. Staff vaping in the kitchen. Takes forever to get food. Zero stars

Well the menu online isn’t what’s served there . Layout is tight I kept getting banged into by staff. Overpriced and just not that good

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and attentive care from the staff. We had the BLT salad then the salmon entree. One word for the food; perfection. We definately recommend and will be back.

First visit to Hurricane Colinz in Cherry Grove-NMB & it won't be my last! It's off season here at the beach so there were just a few patrons, one who told us he always eats there when he comes into town bc its so good. We decided to sit at the bar for dinner & cocktails. The bar top is a work of art! Owner Colin's mother is an interior designer and her professional touch was evident.
Pleasantly greeted by a very upbeat, friendly server, Dawn, who whipped up a special peppermint holiday cocktail. Off to a great start & kept getting better! Fresh Corn chips and salsa was brought out to snack on.
When ordering the filet mignon I inquired about gluten items in the entree, as I am allergic. Dawn was very aware of the allergy and asked head chef Jason to come speak with me bc
his wife is celiac. So he is so very knowledgable! Funny thing was he was in the process of creating a full GF menu, with a dedicate fryer! Yay! It kept getting better when our food arrived. My filet was cooked to a perfect medium rare+ temperature with a nicely seasoned crust. Great smashed potatoes, too! My friend had the Mahi entree and was very pleased, also! Everything was so fresh & flavorful!
My final review was of the bathroom (lol), of course. Not only was it spacious with classy decor, it was meticulous!
That sealed the deal and Hurricane Colinz has become one of my favorite local restaurants!
Moderately priced. Happy Hour 4-6. *Call ahead bc they're closing for renovations sometime this winter (2023) **
A must try!

This place is quaint and intimate. The food is fantastic and the service is top notch. I will return every time I am in town.

We just tried to eat at Hurricane Colinz after a day on the beach with our 2 and 3 year old. The hostess told us that “just so we knew, they were a fine dining restaurant.” With this being said, we have eaten there with the kids 2 out of the past 4 weekends and paid the bill and tipped well because of the kiddos, we always do! I asked to speak with the manager who was bartending and no owner was there! I asked him why a hostess would tell someone that and he said they were fine dining. When we are there the past 2 times, they have happy hour specials between 8 and 12 dollars so I do not consider that fine dining! My children have been very well behaved when we have been there so I’m guessing they just do not like children.! Every restaurant that has been in this location has failed in the past so we have tried to support this establishment. I guess my money does not spend as well since I have children?!?!? We will not support them again! The hostess has been there every time we have been is rude and hates children!
