Celebrating my 50th birthday weekend in St. Helena led me back to Hunnicutt, where the intimate tasting experience and rich, complex reds truly captivated my palate once again. The cave tour, paired with knowledgeable and personable hosts like Andrew and Shelby, added layers of history and warmth to each sip, making the tasting both educational and deeply enjoyable. Their smaller-production wines-especially the bold Chardonnays, Zinfandels, and Cabernet Sauvignons-offer a perfect balance of depth and approachability that keeps me coming back for more.

Spent my 50th birthday weekend in St. Helena, where I chose Hunnicutt for my main celebration lunch. Hunnicutt offers smaller production wines focusing on bold Chards, Zins, and Cabs, starting the visit in the outdoor lounge with a bit of winery history and continuing into the cave for a tour. The hospitality director, Andrew Bohi, is incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming, making the experience truly memorable.
