The food at this hospital is decent, especially for post-treatment meals. My family used to dine here after my treatments until I couldn't stomach solid food anymore. It was tasty back then, so I assume it's still good now, albeit a bit pricey for hospital food.

Seems customer service continue to sink. Crossing over to rude. I understand the job may not be ideal but no sense in being rude at very request. Will not return.

Good food and a huge selection of different types of food to pick from at a reasonable price some people complain about employees not friendly i not there to visit just eat and they did their job well i eat there about 3 times /month

VUMC is amazing but the food choices and service at the Courtyard Cafe does not match up. I've been here 7 days with my husband and literally dread going down there. Food is just ok and customer service nonexistent.

As wonderful as you are treated at VUMC, I would think they could hire some individuals in this cafeteria that had some basic customer service skills. The food is decent and affordably priced, but the most miserable workers I have ever seen in one place! This was not an isolated event. I ate there 3x during my mother's hospital stay. When you walk up to a station, the employees will not stop their personal conversation until they are ready; no greeting at all, they just look at you like you have 3 heads. The cashier's were equally unimpressive. Shocking VUMC allows this since every other experience in every department was too notch!
