During a recent visit to Big Al's, I was impressed by the warm and engaging service from AJ, who explained their adjusted hours due to his father's knee surgery, as well as the cozy atmosphere reminiscent of a home dining experience, where I enjoyed perfectly fried catfish and shrimp and grits, both of which exceeded my expectations, although the cleanliness of the establishment left something to be desired.
