For a taste of genuine country cooking, I found a wonderful spot that serves fantastic meat and three dishes without overcooking anything. The cafeteria-style service creates a cozy atmosphere, and the friendly staff made my kids feel right at home, even taking the time to teach them how to square dance. Our monthly lunches there with my dad and his friends are always special, especially with the lively dancing options available on weekends, making it a memorable outing for everyone.

I felt as if i was dreaming my favorite dream and momma was trying to get me up for school and i just wanted a plate lunch and some good ol' talk with my new neighbors at the Jamboree. lunch was better than any cuisine i had in France when i was a french kisser for an all girl kissing toll booth under the offal tower....after lunch i unbuckled my belt and the smell of shackle island homemade pie was speaking a sweet after thought language so i said i don't know what you just said but, it sounds right out of the oven fresh so, i ate a whole pie yall! and the bunch at the long jam. said c'mon back for music ya hear and the dance floor of some of the dance off your pants people this side of the fun times river!

I have always had very attentive and friendly service. The food is very good. The people who run this establishment, I have known all my life. I can not believe the comment that was previously wrote about them. There must have been some breakdown in communication between the people and the servers. These people go above and beyond to serve you, and to make you feel at home. People do make mistakes from time to time, but God didn't make any of us perfect. I honestly do not believe the people at Long Hollow Jamboree treated anyone poorly, nor with any hate. Apparently this person is the one that has a poor attitude and carries around hatred. All I can say is don't judge the place by this one person's comment. Come on down and be the judge for yourself.

One Sunday I was overcharged - my 9 year old was charged as an adult - so I quetioned why when all of the years we had been eating there it was different. I was told he received an adult portion - not sure why. Instead of apologizing and correcting the mistake at the register, she insisted I had to pay the higher amount which I did. When we returned today the lady serving us treated us with pure hate and evil. I've never in my life been treated so poorly by anyone, ever. All because I questioned the charge the week before. We will never return.
