The food used to be really good but the past year or so they have started with prepackaged overpriced items that do not require a cook, but someone who can microwave. There is no seasonings as they chose to cater to an older crowd and following their dietary needs. Food needs seasoning and at the high prices it should be better than it is. More often than not everything is overcooked. When they get a cook who can really cook good food they move them to one of the other diners. Go back to the good food made from scratch and leave the bland, boring seasonless food to Merrick Manor. The help there is excellent though. They try to do all they can for you. Just remember you are running a restrurant, not a dietary establishment, You did great in the past, go back to that kind of cooking again!

They are usually a good place to eat but lately I have been avoiding. The service is terrible at times Mr. Corn needs to get employees that listen to the customer especially when they come through the drive- thru and not act like it the customers fault that they got it wrong and tell you we already made it with an attitude. What happened to the people that worked there that cared. The food quality has gone downhill too. I got the chicken fried steak and the white gravy was spoiled and inedible, the hamburger on the burrito that a family member got was not drained the meat was clumped together by the grease and one of the items was completely wrong and tasted bad. We had to throw all of it away and when we called they did not seem to care. They just said we are closing and dismissed us. I would recommend but I have no idea if there are any good works left and if there are what days they are working. For people from out of town go to McDonalds or something they are cheaper and if they mess up they at least try and correct the problem without attitude.

Food was ok but a bit overpriced. Poor service in taking carry-out orders, as there is no room for a line. Thus allowing a patron behind me to order ahead of me. When I was about to receive my food I watched the cook notice that the carry-out box had a hole in the bottom. Yet he still proceeded to carry it to the front and hand it to me without getting a new box. Unique and interesting building but in need of better service.
