Toki Ona is a popular Basque restaurant in Elko. As a traditional Basque eatery, they serve family-style meals starting with bread, bean soup, and salad for the table to share. The main entrees, such as Liver and Onions or stuffed shrimp, are flavorful and generous in portion size. If you're looking to experience traditional Basque dining, Toki Ona is a great choice in Elko.

My husband and I eat and order take out from there quite often. Our experiences are usually ok but this time our steak sandwiches weren't cooked the way we asked, we ordered baked potatoes instead of fries since they r always smothered and soggy from the grease, they didn't even give us butter or sour cream for them, we ordered our steak sandwiches with garlic and there was no garlic, I ordered a dinner salad with ranch and guess what? No ranch, no tomoatoes, and no cucumbers! They messed EVERYTHING up, it's not the cheapest place in town and we also tip well considering the fact that it's take out, I tried calling them to tell them what was wrong but they were about to close so they blocked all calls. I will defiantly call tomorow and see if they will at least offer us somthing to recompensate for this horrible expierience. Ive worked at Restraunt before and believe I am not the person to try and complain but this time it really made me upset since my husband is a miner and when he does get days off we want to enjoy a nice dinner together but this time it was completely ruined.

Under new ownership. Prices are reasonable. The food is great . If you go there try the steak sandwich. It's the best. They also sell great steaks for dinner. Would recommend to anyone

Basque style, several courses. Very tasty soup, great potatoes ana, meat (I had lamb) cooked perfectly.
This place had been closed the last couple years we stayed at Days Inn (next door). Very happy to walk to one of the best eating places in town.
