Last week, I had my wedding reception here and everything went smoothly thanks to Doug, who handled all the coordination so we could just enjoy the day. The food was amazing, the staff super friendly, and the atmosphere was lively and beautiful-definitely a memorable experience that my boyfriend and I will be coming back to.

I had my wedding at the Gypsy Tea Room last week, and it was an amazing experience. Doug made everything run smoothly, the food was delicious, and the staff, especially Kristin, were incredibly sweet and attentive, making it a day to remember.

There are better ways to be insulted -- a slap in the face or possibly a kick in the groin? Gypsy Tea Room is a pretend restaurant - outside of NL, this place would be closed in a week. Let's be honest, it stays open b/c it is a backwater place and this is a backwater restaurant. If you want to experience what locals do when they want to pretend that they are not trapped on the rock -- have at it. Otherwise, book your flight home early and go to an acceptable restaurant in your own hometown.
