I went for lunch with a friend 7 1st of all found the atmosphere dark & dreary. All the different chairs looked schizophrenic , confused. Our waitress was awful. She couldn't answer ?'s, didn't offer specials, didn't seem to give a sh-t. I found the menu limited with no healthy options, no soups, heavy on carbs & fat. It was also very overpriced. I ordered the grilled cheese, Sammy which would be more appropriately named, 3 thick slices of bread with very little, tasteless fillings. It came with fries, any subs. were extra $$. Foe $14.00 I could have had a much better lunch for less at better Keene restaurants; 2 lunches at Cherry Garden: a lobster dinner at Nick's; 2 grilled cheeses at elm City; a much better sandwich at the Stage (for less). Don't let the Pour House put you in the "Poor House".
