I discovered this local store in Hamden plaza while searching for a good bottle of wine. It's a bustling place with a wide variety of liquors, beers, and wines, including some hard-to-find options. The staff is friendly and helpful, and I always find something new to try at great prices.

I bought a bottle of Buffalo Trace Bourbon and the sign said $31.99, so I paid and left. Got home and reviewed receipt and I was charged $39.99, so I went back to Wine Merchants for a refund and George the manager would not honor price posted. I believe it's a law in Ct to honor the price posted. I will make a formal complaint.
