Recently tried the paninis at this small Italian deli in downtown Ansonia based on recommendations. The battered Eggplant with roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella, and pesto spread was excellent and a great deal at $5.50. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with European cafe vibes from the small tables and chairs. The staff is friendly and the bread used for the paninis is perfectly soft and crunchy, making for a satisfying meal.
