A few Saturdays ago, under a gray, drizzly sky, my granddaughters and I found ourselves drawn to Silver Sands Pizza at the Trumbull Arts Festival, where the aroma of brick-oven pies quickly lifted our spirits. Though I usually prefer a denser crust, the thin, flavorful base paired perfectly with the tangy sauce and just the right amount of cheese, surprising me in the best way. That tender chicken franchise and the friendly service left a warm impression, turning a simple meal into a memorable experience I'll eagerly revisit.
