Walking into Anchor Spa for the first time, I was immediately struck by the warm and engaging energy of the staff, especially Jamal, who shared fascinating stories about the venue while we waited for seating. The ambiance blends antique decor with vibrant Caribbean flair, perfectly complementing the thoughtfully crafted cocktails like The Carrot One, where the subtle dill elevated the carrot flavors without overpowering them. Between the lively music, beautiful art, and flavorful food-especially the unforgettable wings and jerk fries-I found myself eager to return and explore more of what this unique and inviting establishment has to offer.

My first visit to Anchor Spa was memorable. The staff's charisma was exceptional, especially Jamal, the host, who shared insights into the bar's history as we chatted while waiting for a table. The bartenders were swift and friendly, and the music selection added to the cozy ambiance. I enjoyed a refreshing Hayman's Tea and a perfectly balanced Carrot One cocktail, complimented by the beautiful art pieces in the bar.
