Trying an apizza in New Haven for the first time was definitely an interesting experience, with the crispy, flavorful crust and perfectly balanced sauce standing out. The restaurant had a charming old-school vibe, and the staff made us feel welcomed while accommodating our requests like ordering a half clam and half bacon pizza. Among the various pies I tasted, the Bacon & Onion stood out as a favorite, and I appreciated the laid-back atmosphere paired with great drinks and reasonable prices.

The atmosphere at Mike's felt like stepping into a cherished local tradition, where the charm of the old-school vibe enveloped us as we settled in at the bar.
