I revisited this joint after decades and had an absolute blast! Back in the '80s, my crew and I used to kick it here, but we never knew they did takeout deliveries to the bar - talk about convenience! The karaoke caught us off guard initially, but after a few drinks, we were belting out tunes like rock stars! The place hasn't changed a bit; it's a quirky dive with a fabulous mix of folks who know how to have a good time. If you're after a laid-back atmosphere, good music, and a bit of character, this is your spot. Just don't expect fancy cocktails or high-end dí©cor - it's all about the down-to-earth vibe here. The female bartender was a gem, super welcoming and added to the charm of the place. It might be a small joint with a unique odor, but it's got style and a bunch of hilarious regulars that make every visit memorable. This divey spot might not be for impressing your date, but if you're up for some laughs and stories to tell, The South River Pub is where it's at on a Friday night!
