I’m so frustrated with this restaurant. I attempted to make two different orders through door dash, once last night and once today for both orders to be cancelled with no explanation. I called and spoke to two individually rude people, just to find out why and was told it’s because they don’t have one of the items I ordered. First of all, if it isn’t available it shouldn’t be on the menu (my gut is telling me they just don’t have an easy way to send this specific item...which I have received in the past). Second, I know for a fact door dash makes it easy for restaurant owners to update their door dash menu to say “sold out” AND to have door dash directly contact the person who placed the order if there is an issue or question (such as a sold out item so the customer can swap it for another item of the same price). I’ve experienced the same problem of a sold out item from other restaurants and door dash has kindly called me and asked if I would like to switch the item. I didn’t receive a phone call either from door dash or from the restaurant and instead my entire order was cancelled. The rude individuals proceeded to lie to me and tell me they were unable to do anything except cancel the order. If a restaurant is that willing to cancel a $90 and $50 order respectively (the item they didn’t have was $5) maybe they don’t need to be on door dash. I can only imagine how willing they would be to provide you with a sh-tty experience in the restaurant in person as well.
