Wow! We have our favorite restaurants, and until last year, they hadn't included breakfast places. Last year, we tried The Jellyfish. We were disappointed that they were closed, and stumbled upon Sunz Up on a search for breakfast.

TLDR- we have a new favorite breakfast place, and have broadened our list of beach must eats while here. S-Tier!!

The whole story:
The owned greeted and seated seated us, and apologized up front that she was short staffed in both the kitchen and on the floor. But, if that was short-staffed, that place must be zipping with full staff! And the food did not suffer in the least! It was prepared with passion and love and tons of care. Our server was friendly and professional, even though she was running herself ragged.

I had the Veggie Benedict, and it was gorgeous! The egg perfectly poached, completely set white, and beautifully runny yolk The hash browns were well seasoned, beautifully pillowy, and not greasy in the least. The fresh fruit was visually beautiful, great quality and delicious!

My husband had the kielbasa omelet, and said he had sausage on every bite. He said even the toast was good ! My oldest son had the three pigs omelet, and loved it, plenty of fillings. My youngest son and nephew had the beach bum special, and were both suitably impressed and completely satisfied.they loved how light and fluffy the pancakes were. The portions are generous, my husband had to finish my Benedict and hash browns.

The orange juice is fresh squeezed and delicious, the tea is obviously fresheshly brewed, and I'm not a coffee drinker, but theirs smelled amazing.

The ingredients used are top notch, the decor is cute, beachy and inviting without being kitschy, with little touches like beach buckets as planters and smaller tin one as jelly caddies.

Sunz Up is a new addition to our beach routine. Can't wait to see them again next year, and we'll be craving it till then.

To the staff of Sunz Up, THANK YOU for an amazing experienced. Have a great winter and we'll see you in September '24!

Most of the waitstaff are inexperienced, and the last few times we came, our servers have been lacking in their manners, and in properly serving the table.
The food quality has also gone down, whether it's because the cooks are inexperienced or inconsistent, this place is not worth going to anymore when there are other better breakfast locations in WW.
For those who prefer specific examples: the eggs and omelettes have been tasteless and items inside have been unsercooked, the fruit has been slimy, the bacon is not crispy, the homefries are soggy.

I was here last week when the owner freaked out on a take out customer for inquiring about the price of their meal. He was freaking out on his customers, threatening to force them to pay for food and call the cops. He went up to the male customer and got in his face, and then went up to the female in the car and yelled something at her. I had my kids and 78 year old grandmother there and they were afraid. I was embarrassed for the owner. It ruined my family's whole dining experience and I will never be going back nor recommending this sh-t show of an establishment to anyone. 10/10 would not recommend unless you like giving money to a sociopath!
