I discovered a wonderful vintage cafeteria that I absolutely adore. My friend initially wasn't hungry, but I persuaded her to stop by, and she ended up enjoying the fried clams. It's been two years since our visit, but the experience of being in that cafeteria still lingers in my memory. Living in California, where authentic diners and cafeterias are scarce compared to my hometown of Philadelphia, made this find even more special.
