I called and was told that my delivery would take up to 35minutes. No problem, we just had a blizzard, there's 16" of snow on the ground that's understandable. An hour later, I get a call from the delivery driver telling me my address didn't exist. o_O...the hell. I explained to him where I was located and what cars were in my driveway. 15 minutes after that still no food. I called the restaurant and asked for an explanation. I was immediately cut off and told the driver just left and promptly hung up on. Seriously? I called back (in the meantime the driver came with my food, no tip womp to him) and the same dude constantly talked over me, told me I wasn't listening and didn't apologize for the hang up at all. Bogus.
Mr. Vincenzo, I understand the weather and that you're probably busy and such but if it's overwhelming instead of being money hungry, shut down your restaurant OR just nix delivery service altogether. How about that? Customer service is what sets you apart from Lavita's and Riccardo's and Crazy Cow but now I will give them my business from now on instead of supporting my local establishment. You should be ashamed of yourself for this entire experience, if the gentleman who spoke to me is an OWNER of this place as he stated then you should be ashamed of that fact also. As I stated to the gentleman over the phone the other times I've been there TO PICK UP MY ORDER everyone there was very nice but this time....not so much. It only takes once and you only get one chance. I'm returning my food and asking for a refund. It's just sad. Customer service is a lost art in today's society and with the economy being what it is....you should chose wisely about how you set yourself apart from the rest.
