This neighborhood eatery consistently delivers on flavor and quality. I've been a loyal patron for years, drawn in by their delectable BBQ roast pork and flavorful hot & sour soup. Whether it's the crispy pork egg rolls or the savory mushu pork, Bamboo House has never disappointed me with their Chinese cuisine.

Most favorite take out! Love the steamed chicken dumplings- best dipping sauce, sweet and sour soup, General Chos shrimp, ribs, mu shu, lo mein, I could list the whole menu...the owners are lovely, always friendly and helpful- no matter how much I order it's ready in 10-15 minutes.

Like any primarily take-out restaurant, you need to order YOUR favorite dishes and try them out. Personally, I love any shrimp dishes that Bamboo House does - the shrimp are a very nice size (no magnifying glass needed) and you get a good portion of shrimp to veggies. Hot and sour soup is one of my favorites - it is both hot and sour - not like some other local restaurants that seem to like them sweet and sour; this soup also has a lot of extras - they use chicken instead of pork, carrots instead of bamboo shoots, etc. but they can be inconsistent - too many carrots one day, just a few another. Most fried items can be risky as they can be quite oily if the restaurant is busy and don't take time to drain the food well, etc. Otherwise, a good and dependable neighborhood Chinese restaurant.
