The new caddies are fantastic, and the bartenders Drew and Shannon are incredibly friendly. With great food, a wide variety of local craft beers, and a welcoming atmosphere, it's a wonderful place to enjoy a meal and drinks with friends.

We arrived just a little before 5 p.m. and waited 15 minutes for anyone to bring us to a table (dining room only had one family in it), and then ordered. After the waiter brought the salad, he never came back to see if we needed anything. I wanted to mention that I noticed the table was dirty after he took our order (lettuce and crumbs from a previous customer) and would like him to be so kind as to clean it. Our dinner was brought by someone else who just put it on the table and left (didn't give me time to ask to clean the table). My prime rib and baked potato was cold and my husband's fish and chips dinner was so greasy that the lettuce underneath was covered with grease. She didn't come back for me to tell her that there was a problem with our dinners. (we've been here before and never had this problem). Again, no one came to ask if we needed a drink, if everything was fine, or if they could bring us anything. We asked for the bill and left. We didn't bother saying anything because there wasn't anyone to talk to as the waitress left the bill with the money holder on the table and we left it in there. VERY disappointed on many counts. I will never go here again.

I've been going to the Chapter House for many years and we never had a bad meal. Last night was a total disappointment. First, they charge you for bread. They did this many years ago but then, after numerous complaints, they stopped charging. Well, I guess because of the economy, they started charging for it again. We ordered the Grilled pork chops (they were not grilled) and the sirloin steak medium rare (which was dry). When the waitress came over to inquire how everything was, we told her and her actions were (Oh well). Needless to say, with all the restaurants in the area, we will not be going back there anytime soon.

Wow... I came home from work and my husband had a surprise waiting.. The BEST Ribs (pork) Iv'e had in a long time..succulent,mildly charred, BBQ sauce delicious with a little heat, not too fatty, sides of mashed red potatoes frenchfries an additional cup of sauce, clam chowder..I was in heaven.I used to send my husband to the Boathouse in Belmar, but these surpass those and there up the street from us! Go there!
