The meatball sandwich I had was incredible, and after discovering Maria's Sweet Deli near Liberty Airport, I keep returning for the amazing sausage, egg, and cheese on a Portuguese roll, as well as the delicious western omelet and chicken platter, all served by a friendly, family-run staff that makes the atmosphere welcoming despite the parking challenges in the Ironbound area.
