This is by far one of the best diners I have ever been to! The portions are beyond generous and the desserts, that are homemade onsite, are absolutely delicious. The burgers and breakfast food are always fabulous. The paninis are excellent. But I have to say that I am always impressed by the quality of their dinners and specials...love this place and I will keep going back. The owners are always pleasant and friendly. I just wish I lived closer because I would be able to go more often!

Dry burger, mediocre experience I ordered a basic medium cooked cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and bacon. Arrived well done, no cheese, no tomato. The kaiser roll was dry to the point of crumbly. The burger was from a frozen patty, pretty much tasteless and very dry. ..."

We go to this diner at least once a week and if we don't eat in then we get it to go. I don't know why some seem to have such a bad experience here because everyone has always been so friendly in there and the food is better than a lot of the other diners we have been to. Their cheesecake is really good too. Around the holidays I always order a Strawberry cheesecake and a regular cake from them and they are reasonable with the prices.

This is the worst diner. I ate there Summer 2010, I got food poisoning from the appetizer. The staff is so rude and unwelcoming. Whoever owns this needs new management.

Legends Diner has the best Hamburgers! it had to be at least 8 oz. I am looking at apartments in the secaucus area; moving from the city! so i stop in one night and had a south western type of deluxe, was way too large but enjoyed it, very reasonable in cost and staff was nice.....you will be seeing me there again! it is a nit out of the way but that's OK.

People never like to say good things and its a shame! I am a devoted customer of the Legends Diner coming from Jersey City almost three times a week, i enjoy the service, this is a family oriented environment and the portions are just generous! re: last review i witness the customer call the "female hostess" names because she wanted to equally split the check in the appropriate manner..seemed to me they had an issue amongst themselves on "who" wanted to pay the check! Legends Diner has never let us down n my book!

I was a loyal customer of this retaurant until their new female cashier called my friend and I names, hassled us, and threatened us all because we asked her to split our check. I'll never go there again.
