It's disappointing to see this place shut down, as it was a rare find among the disappearing German restaurants in New Jersey. It's a shame that some prefer the convenience of chain restaurants serving subpar microwaved food instead of supporting unique dining experiences.

We went there a few times during Oktoberfest. Remember all of the steins in the lobby or entrance area? What I remember most is when we were in high school, we used to park in the small patch of grass on the far side of the parking lot. Great place to make out with the girls.

THIS PLACE WAS WHERE I TOOK MY WIFE ON OUR FIRST DATE. THE FOOD WAS GREAT AND THE ATMOSPHERE WAS INTOXICATING. WE WERE SERVED A LARGE VARIETY OF GERMAN WURST AND CONSUMED TWO PITCHERS OF DINKER LAGER BEER. THE MUSIC WAS VERY UPLIFTING AND WE ENJOYED IT VERY MUCH. ITS SO SAD TO HAVE SEEN THIS RESTAURANT BEING DESTROYED ON YOU TUBE CAUSE AN EMPTY LOT IS ALL THAT REMAINS NOW BUT THE MEMORY OF THAT DAY WILL LIVE IN OUR MINDS FOREVER MORE
