The empanadas de carne and pan de Bono's are worth the wait, especially since the treats tend to sell out quickly, and the coffee is excellent whether black or with warmed milk. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, the food is consistently delicious and hot, and despite the humble and dated interior, the flavors bring a vibrant taste of Colombia to New Jersey.

The bakery only accepts cash payments and sometimes sells out of treats. I recommend trying the empanadas de carne and pan de Bono, but I found the chicarrón to be lacking crispiness. The coffee is enjoyable, especially black or with warm milk. The dining area could use some updates, so I prefer taking my food to go. Despite the simple ambiance, the Colombian bakery offers delicious and affordable treats, providing a taste of Colombia in New Jersey. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience with traditional dishes like salami con arepa and exotic fruit shakes.
