Today I had breakfast at Comfi in Old Bridge. Our waitress was Alexis. She was excellent. We purchased a gift card for a friend but did not see them and decided to use the gift card for breakfast. We enjoyed our breakfast and when we tried to pay for it using our gift card. The waitress informed us they no longer take Comfi gift cards. I was confused as the name outside said "Comfi", menu said "Comfi". She explained that since November. I purchased it at the end of October. She gets someone else to help me as I was confused.
The person who helped me (not sure of her name she never stated it) basically said Comfi is in Belmar. I explained that I have no plans on going to Belmar. She replied well I don't know where you live. As I became more frustrated by her lack of customer service, she offered to give me a discount or take something off the bill. This just added to my frustration. I paid the bill with a card and tipped Alexis 20% with cash. I frequented the restaurant several times a year, and recommended it to friends and family. But unfortunately this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth..

I love that this eatery is so close to home. Between the quality of food and the service... Cody and Natalia not to mention the others, I cannot rave enough. There is no way you can ever be disappointed!!!!

Took my dad out for breakfast yesterday. We came at peak time and it was quite crowded. Understandably so because it's the best breakfast place in Old Bridge. No generic route 9 diner for us.

some of the best food that i ever had the people and service was great you will never leave here unhappy with what ever you choose to eat
