Over the weekend, I ordered delivery from La Vega and enjoyed two cheese empanadas and one chicken empanada, with the chicken being my favorite; the rice and beans were also delicious and came in a large portion. Today, I had takeout featuring the steak with onions, mongongo, and shrimp with garlic sauce, all of which tasted amazing, though the tres leches dessert was disappointing since it was store-bought in a plastic container rather than homemade.
