At his request, we took our elderly uncle to Toscano's for dinner. We found the menu selection to be very good and although extremely pricey, the food was good, as well. The service, however, was abysmal. We had to wait forever for everything - we had to wait a while before the waitress came to take our order, it took a long time for the waitress to bring our food, and then she only brought three of the four dinners; she went back to the kitchen to get the fourth (we thought) and instead brought the food for another table. It was about ten minutes before everyone at our table had their dinner. Then came the worst part, we waited for our check for at least fifteen minutes after the plates were cleared, all the while watching our waitress chit-chat with friends at another table. Then she had the audacity to include an 18% gratuity on the bill. We were appalled, but couldn't argue the point because we were afraid of upsetting our uncle. We will never set foot in Toscano's again, and will let all of our friends and relatives know what a tremendously horrid experience we had.
