This local eatery off the highway offers a fantastic mix of classic burger joint and authentic New Mexican flavors, with a menu full of delicious options like stuffed enchiladas, posole, and rolled tacos. The friendly, family-run atmosphere adds to the charm, making every visit feel welcoming and memorable. Stop & Eat is a wonderful place to eat. Their food is good but the only thing i have to say? They close to darn early. When gus was alive he opened the place at 10:00am to 10:pm everyday and closed on holidays. Gus made Stop & Eat a special place and made you feel welcome everytime me or my family went bye.

The rolled tacos are delicious and so are the deep fried burritos. They only take cash so make sure you have a few dollars before heading over. You won't need very much cause the prices are very reasonable.
