Years ago, prior to Hurricane Katrina, I use to eat at that restaurant often---when it was on Camp Street and since it has been on St. Charles Avenue.
I believe that the owner's name was Russell, I'm not sure. But their foods were always fresh, always nicely prepared and always, always tasty.
I love all the soups, but my favorites are the cheese soup and the oyster-artichoke. I like that Russell came up with new types of soups--all of which were delicious.
This is a very good place to eat. Everything in there is good, from the soups to the sandwiches to the fresh smoothies--EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!
Go try it out. You'll be glad you did and you will return. Good to know that it is still around, post Hurricane Katrina.
