I really wish I had known about this cool spot back in my UNO days. I'm a big fan of live jazz, so when my sister invited me to a concert there, I was all in. The prices for beer and wine are pretty reasonable, and I think they also offer cocktails. The music lineup usually features UNO students playing alongside a well-known musician, which is a great experience for everyone involved. The only thing that threw me off a bit was that the crowd tended to be older, mostly in their 40s and 50s, but it's mostly UNO alumni reliving their college days. I just wish current students would appreciate the Sandbar as much as the grads do, as it's a fantastic spot to hang out and connect with the university and city's music scene.
