I've been coming here since I was a kid, and the snowballs always hit the spot with their super soft, flaky ice and generous homemade condensed milk. The almond cream and chocolate flavors are my favorites, though I'm always tempted to try something new because everything tastes so natural and refreshing. The friendly folks running the stand make the experience even better, and even when there's a line, it moves fast and is totally worth the wait on a hot day.

Plum Street has been a must-visit for me ever since I was in sixth grade, and every time I'm in New Orleans, it's the first place I head to. The snowballs wrapped in plastic containers always taste extra delicious, and the flavors like almond cream and chocolate are unbeatable.
