I had a fantastic experience at Black Pearl, enjoying generous portions of turkey necks, greens, mac and cheese, yams, and cornbread, all bursting with authentic soul food flavors. The atmosphere is casual and unpretentious, with cafeteria-style service and a friendly staff who guided me through the ordering process despite the lack of a traditional menu. While the fried chicken was good, the sides truly stood out, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit to try more dishes.

I recently visited Black Pearl with a friend and was pleasantly surprised by the soulful flavors of their food. The lack of prices or menu added to the mysterious charm of the place, but the friendly woman behind the counter guided us through the ordering process. The generous portions and delicious dishes left me eager to return for more, despite the lingering scent of turkey necks on my hands.
