Only giving a 1 Star because I can’t review with a 0. Upon dropping off my linens at the laundry mat next door to Mannese’s, I decided to walk over and have a drink. I was greeted by a patron as I walked in and sat at the end of the bar. I asked the old, grey haired man behind the bar how much the card minimum was and he stated they do not accept credit cards and directed me to the closest ATM. As I returned from withdrawing cash, I sat back in the same seat as before and asked for a Miller. The bar tender told me they do not have that beer and asked for my ID. This is where the service blows my mind. The bar tender stared at the front of my ID for about 30 seconds and then proceeds to ask me, “Where is your address, I’m not familiar with it. “ I told him my current address, and yes it matches the one on my license. He told me, “No, where is your address, like, where do you live”. Insinuating that I give him a landmark for my house. I asked him why does it matter where I live, that has nothing to do with me being over 21. This old man told me I was getting an attitude with him when I refused to tell him exactly where I lived and proceeded to kick me out of the bar. I’m 27 years old and have never had any problem getting into a bar. It is not this mans right to ask me specifics about where I live, only to verify the address on my license. I will be posting this on all other media and filing a complaint.
