After discovering Lucoli's thin, rectangular pizzas with their perfectly charred crust and house-made mozzarella, I'm hooked-there's nothing quite like sliding that par-cooked beauty into a blazing oven for 90 seconds and devouring it fresh out of the oven. The owner's knack for quality ingredients and quirky extras like fried eggplant on a margherita keeps me driving over an hour just to get my fix of this delicious, fold-it-in-half masterpiece.

I've been back many times since, but now it's all takeout. My go-to is the Pizza Napolotena with no toppings; just pure, delicious pizza with no frills. They partially cook them ahead of time, so it's usually ready to pop in the oven when you get there at the agreed-upon time, which is ideal.
