The Johnston House had amazing food and a lovely outdoor patio. The chefs worked tirelessly in the hot kitchen to create unique menu specials.

Setting is idyllic really. It's gorgeous.
But eat here for the best meal of your life.
If I could give it 6 Stars I would.

Best kept secret in the 1000 Islands. Outstanding food served in a beautiful outdoor setting. Their Chef captured flavors in unique blends of spices & ingredients. Everything from fresh mint on the beet & arugula salad to the herbs in the Puttanesca. Salmon & risotto were prepared with expertise. Homemade pastas & wonderfully thyme infused Gnocchi are the closest thing to my Grandpa's cooking from the Basilicata region of Italy. Quite frankly this food is to die for. Well deserved 5 stars You hit this one out of the ball park for this family of 7. See you again in August.
