My husband, who grew up around here, grabbed some wings recently-mild and garlic butter-and wow, they were crispy perfection with sauces that hit the spot. I've made the half-hour trek multiple times because the food and service consistently impress, from the prime rib to the french onion soup, though the chicken fajitas? Total letdown-dry and flavorless, definitely skip those. Despite the ranch and blue cheese surcharge (seriously, who charges extra for that?), this place keeps me coming back for friendly service and meals that never disappoint.

My husband is familiar with this area from his childhood. There are limited options for wings in the vicinity, so I requested he bring some home. He ordered the mild and garlic butter flavors, both of which were enjoyable. The chicken was fried to a satisfying crispiness, and the sauces were well-balanced. I did find it slightly inconvenient that extra ranch and blue cheese come at an additional cost.
